CYCLONE DRYER

The CYCLONE DRYER is a proprietary technology which is used the VINNOLIT SUSPENSION PVC Process and in licensees’ plants for different products.

It is the optimized drying technology to dry fine grained powder, like PVC. The special construction of a CYCLONE DRYER serves to classify the particles and therefore the residence time in the dryer increases with the particle size of the product.

This selective effect is the main characteristic feature of the VINNOLIT CYCLONE DRYER and results in all particles leaving the cyclone with roughly the same moisture content, irrespective of their size.

Depending on the particle size up to 30 minutes residence time in which the product is moved within the CYCLONE DRYER is possible. This reduces the drying temperature and energy consumption.

CYCLONE DRYERS are used for SUSPENSION AND EMULSION PVC, polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), various plant protection products or inorganic chemicals.
